IDOT, Pumping Stations at Multiple Sites, IL

This project included the replacement of roofs at several small pumping Stations in District 1 for IDOT. The user needed to occupy the spaces at all times of the project with sensitive pumping equipment and electrical panels in addition to maintaining security at the facilities at all times. The work included replacement of damaged skylight units, masonry repairs and concrete repairs at existing exposed walls, repair of stainless steel flashing and siding, replacement of exterior expansion joints, and repair to structural steel and concrete members.
At one of the sites, we employed the installation of a cool roof over the existing roof with added insulation to meet new energy code requirements. The existing roof was left in place to act as the deck for the new roof and so as not to disturb the User's operations housed within.
