Edison Park Elementary School Annex, Chicago, IL

This project is on target to achieve LEED Silver Certification.

Tripartite acted as the Architect of Record for the prototypical design of a 2-story, 30,500 square foot classroom addition to the existing 1920’s public elementary school located in Chicago. The project includes nine typical classrooms, one science classroom, a warming kitchen, a dining room, a new parking lot and playground, a vegetative roof, and associated site improvements. The existing building required modifications for the linked annex. In addition, isolated repairs to the existing building including the renovation of two existing classrooms are included.
Hazardous material is addressed in the existing building and abatement is included as part of the project work.
