Door Replacement at multiple Chicago Public Schools

Four phases for this unique project addressed the broken exterior and vestibule doors, transoms and decorative panels in existing masonry openings at many sites throughout the K-12 school system. Tripartite took a holistic approach to the project incorporating the repair work beyond just the doors and frames to address systemic problems and to repair deferred maintenance associated with the entrances. We developed specifications and details that became prototypical for other door replacement projects for the Chicago Public Schools. A full range of trades were required to complete the work required for the extensive replacement and finish repair.
